Customer Review
Delivered timely, sturdy, detailed instructions for assembly/mounting. It is really a 2 person job though to mount it so someone can hold it while you mark where it needs to go, etc.. I needed the potrack to hang over/behind my stove and this was perfect, it is large enough to do the job nicely but small enough not to be obstructive when cooking. It comes with 6 hooks that match the color of the unit and they are also sturdy. I was very pleased with the price and the quality and I put it in a rental house and I am not in the least worried about it holding up to the "abuse" that tenants are sometimes capable of. The way it mounts in the wall is very secure. I would defintely buy another one if I needed one and would purchase from the vendor again also.
Nice Looking Pot Rack - Overpriced - Requires Two People to Assemble - T. Mears - Mid West
The instruction set comes on a 11x17 double sided folded paper but the exploded view diagram of the product is the size of two postage stamps. and the drawings of the parts themselves require some of us to use a magnifier.
The parts are small, slick, and hard to hold on to. Do not try to assemble it without an helper that can stay focused on the project - wear shoes; you will drop one of the parts at least once.
It is best to use a square cornered table - not the dining room table unless it is covered with something to resist scratches.
My opinion on this product is that it is overpriced for what it is but, if the shelf frame came assembled (welded)
it would not add more than an inch to the depth of the mailer box and would remove 95% of the frustration and considerably to the personal relations of the company and possibly cut down on the returns.
I assemble items such as this on a regular basis and consider myself fairly good at it. On a scale of 1 to 10 on ease of assembly - I'll not order anything again from Enclume.
Fits great in my kitchen. - L. Lake - Gurnee,IL USA
Great pot rack. Holds 8 pots and pans with out any cramping. The shelf holds all my cookbooks and really helped give me more kitchen space. I did install it with my own toggle bolts. I am sure the ones that it came with would have been fine, but I just wanted to beef it up. I wasent hard to install. I did it in less than an hour. I am very happy with my choice.
